BYU Idaho Center Stage announced the two-time Grammy Award-winning artist, Lauren Daigle, will perform at the BYU Idaho Center on Friday, September 18.

According to Center Stage's press release, Lauren Daigle is known for her powerful vocals and crossover success in both contemporary Christian and mainstream music. It went on to say Daigle’s live performances are known for emotional depth, uplifting messages, and strong connections with her audiences.

Tanner Christensen, Center Stage's Entertainment Promoter, said Daigle's arrival can be attributed to his predecessor, Dale Hiller, and Mike Thueson, Director of Purchasing.

"I came in halfway through the process," Christensen said. "So I started here in February, and my predecessor, Dale Hillier, who was formerly over Center Stage, and Mike Thueson are the ones who had reached out to Lauren Daigle and tried to get on her tour schedule. It just worked for her to come out in September. So I helped it across the finish line, but Dale was the one who got it started."

Center Stage's public announcement of the show said Daigle's album Look Up Child, featuring her 6x Platinum hit "You Say," broke records as the longest-running No. 1 on any Billboard chart. The song remained at the top of the charts for 100 weeks, all while making her the first female artist to simultaneously reach the Top 10 on both the Pop and Christian Album charts.

Student presale for tickets opens on Tuesday, May 5, at 10 a.m., and public tickets will be available for purchase on Friday, May 8, at 10 a.m.

Tickets and more information can be found on Center Stage's website or at the Ticket Office located in the BYU Idaho university store.
