Rexburg may be a small college town, but as long as you are creative and enjoy going outside, there are a plethora of first date options for all of the college students eager to get into the dating scene.
Do not be afraid of going outside! Sure it may be cold, but there are hot chocolate stands to warm your insides when your date is struggling to do so.
Where to spend money
Spend a little cash and you can go to Fat Cats! They offer laser tag, bowling, mini golf, movies and, most importantly, food!
Places to eat
Speaking of food, Rexburg has a variety of options for anyone who wants to sit down and eat or get food to go. The Hickory, taco trucks, Costa Vida, Cafe Rio, Arby’s, Wendy’s, Mcdonald’s, Subway, Kiwi Loco, Gator Jack’s and many more!
Free dates
Low on cash? No problem! Idaho is an outdoorsy person’s dream! You can take your date on a hike, bridge jumping or swimming; there are even ice caves for anyone who is looking for an adventure.
Low budget
Having a bonfire near Beaver Dick, the Sand Dunes, pretty much anywhere you can set up a fire. You can either spend some money at a range, which only costs $5 at the Unified Sportsman’s Club Inc., or just go shooting near the Sand Dunes. You can rent equipment at the BYU-Idaho Outdoor Resource Center.
In all honesty, if you cannot think of anything to do on a first date, you need to step outside and look with your eyes!
