“Ring out Wild Bells” was the name of this year’s Christmas concert held Dec. 7 in the BYU-Idaho Center.
The guest star Nathan Pacheco performed along with BYU-I choirs, dancers and musicians.
According to a Center Stage pamphlet, Nathan Pacheco is a vocalist with passion for reaching out and lifting people through his music.
Pacheco has traveled around the world and has performed with other artists such as Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban.
Kristi Mitchell, a senior studying music, a performed in the concert.
“Being a part of this performance and coming together with all the performers made it special,” Mitchell said.
She said it was neat being able to be a part of helping to bring the Spirit so strongly to everyone who was in attendance.
“I liked how the show incorporated a multi-cultural aspect,” said Katherine Prescott, a freshman majoring in general studies.
Prescott said the performance included French and Nigerian songs among those from other cultures.
“Seeing the different cultural aspects made me realize how Christ is such a universal person,” Prescott said. “It shows how we can truly relate to him no matter where we are from.”
