The City of Rexburg will host five races in the next five months.

Races include the Teton Dam Marathon, the Foamy 5K, the Main Street Mile, the Speedy Spud 5K and the Zombie Run. If that is not enough, runners can also sign up for the Rexburg Run Club.

People can sign up for any of these races on the City of Rexburg's website.

Teton Dam Marathon — June 7

The race draws runners from all over the country to Rexburg, according to the website.

The different races offered include a marathon, relay, half marathon, 10K and 5K.

The deadline to register for the Teton Dam Marathon is June 6 at 6 p.m. Race packet pickup will be at Madison Health Hospital on the same day from 4 to 8 p.m.

The race schedule and entry fees for the different events can be found on the city of Rexburg's website.

Foamy 5K — June 21

The Foamy 5K will start and finish in front of Rexburg Rapids at Riverside Park.

Participation costs $35.

People can register on the website or on race day.

Swimsuits are recommended for the post-race party at Rexburg Rapids.

Each participant will receive a t-shirt and a medal if they sign up by June 13. All runners are guaranteed access to the exclusive reservation at Rexburg Rapids.

The race will have four heats. The heats will be assigned at check-in.

The post-race party at Rexburg Rapids ends at 11:30 a.m. All participants are expected to leave by that time.

Main Street Mile — July 4

The Main Street Mile will begin at 9:45 a.m. at the Mountain America Credit Union, before the Rexburg Fourth of July Parade. The race concludes at Taco Time.

Registration costs $5 for participants 3 and up. Children 2 and under, or those in a stroller, are included in their parent's registration.

People can sign up on the city of Rexburg's website or on race day.

Each entry will receive a Fourth of July day pass to Rexburg Rapids.

Speedy Spud 5K — Sept. 27

As part of the OkTUBERfest celebration, the Speedy Spud 5K will start at Nature Park near the pickleball courts and will loop around Eagle Park for two laps. It will finish at the starting line.

In addition to the 5k, The Mashed Potato Mile will take place for kids. Although it is a kids event, anyone can participate in The Mashed Potato Mile, according to Parker Anderson, the Rexburg Races and Events manger.

The 5K will start at 9 a.m. and the mile will start at 9:45 a.m.

Registration costs $25 for the 5K and $10 for the mile.

Those interested can sign up on the website. All participants will receive a t-shirt.

Zombie Run — October

The Zombie Run is the newest addition to Rexburg's many races. The date has not been confirmed yet.

The Zombie Run consists of two races.

The first race will be a family-friendly costume run.

The second will happen later, for those wanting more of a scare, according to Anderson.

Both races will take place at Eagle Park and Nature Park, according to Anderson.

Rexburg Run Club — Weekly

The Rexburg Run Club meets every Thursday at 6 p.m. It is free to participate.

Every run takes place at a different location with several different distance options.
