Each Tuesday, students at BYU-Idaho have the privilege to attend weekly devotionals as part of their spiritual experience on campus. Once the closing prayer of the devotional has been said, students are often seen crowding the halls of the BYU-Idaho Center as they exit the building to continue the rest of their day.
But what are they typically doing right after devotional?
After asking several students on campus, here are some post-devotional traditions that students have.

"On some weeks, I eat lunch with my friends afterward," said Gabe Hale, a horticulture major. "It's a great way to get to know your FHE group better."
Meredith Motto, a student majoring in agriculture business with a minor in supply chain management, said that she gets the monster bagel each week at the Backroads. This tradition was introduced to Motto by her sister-in-law while Motto was a freshman and she has followed it ever since. Afterwards, Motto goes up to The Crossroads to do homework and study for her classes.
Kyle Liddiard, a business marketing major, and Felice Wall, a child development major, sometimes go out together to eat lunch at Cafe Rio or McDonald's. Other days, they learn and play new board games together.
For many, post-devotional activities are opportunities to eat lunch, study and have fun together as students and as a community here on campus.
Whether that's going home to eat or hanging out with friends at The Crossroads, BYUI students continue to build and strengthen traditions here on campus.
