Flourish Point will host the Rexburg Pride event Saturday, June 10 at Porter Park.
The event will begin at 3 p.m. and will involve different activities, food and performers. Attendees will get the chance to see different vendors and purchase Rexburg Pride merchandise at the event.
At 4 p.m., the program will begin. The unity walk will begin at 5 p.m. and the concert will start at 6:30 p.m.
It is free for anyone to register for the unity walk. Flourish Point asks all who would like to participate to register on its website to release liability.
There are multiple volunteer opportunities for those looking for such. These opportunities include decoration, de-escalation, event set-up, post-pride and program/stage help. Those interested can learn more about each volunteer opportunity and sign up on the Rexburg Pride website.
Suit Up, Soldier is the band performing the concert at the end of the event. The band performed at Utah Pride in 2022, catching Flourish Point’s attention. According to Suit Up, Soldier’s website, they are “a heaping cup of rock, a spoonful of sultry ballads and a pinch of pop.”
Each vendor and food truck must submit an application on Rexburg Pride’s website. Application frequently asked questions and contact information are also available there.
The event expects about 1,500 people to attend, as well as multiple vendors and five food trucks. Rexburg Pride 2023 is sponsored by Flourish Point, Teton Light and Writ & Vision.
