Second East will be closed Thursday evening while machinery from Kettle Embroidery is moved to its new location.
According to the Rexburg Police Department, police will be stopping traffic on Second East at 6 p.m. to allow the vehicles with the machinery to pass by.
Monty Spaulding, the store’s general manager, said they will be moving a six-head embroidery machine and a four-head embroidery machine on Thursday.
“We are opening our new location on Monday,” Spaulding said.
He said that remaining equipment will be moved to the new store on Friday in preparation for the new shops opening.
“We have dated and renovated the [new] location, and it will be much nicer,” Spaulding said.
Spaulding said the new store’s site will benefit Kettle Embroideries customers.
“We are hoping that the parking is better,” Spaulding said.
Spaulding said that Kettle Embroidery has sent letters to customers, as well as advertised in local papers to let the community know about the move.
