Country artist Russell Dickerson will perform for Rexburg's America 250 celebration on July 3, 2026 at Madison Bobcat Stadium.

According to the America 250 celebration press release, "Dickerson is known for hits like 'Yours,' 'Blue Tacoma,' and 'She Likes It.' Russell performed his most recent hit, “Happen to Me” at the Macy’s Day Parade and College Game Day last fall."

Aaron Denney, the city of Rexburg's economic development specialist, said many people have plans for July Fourth but don't have plans on Friday. He suggested that this is a way to start off the weekend with a lot of fun.

"Russell Dickerson was one of the artists we had in mind for the conference because he's an up and coming and really popular country artist right now," Denney said. "He really embodies the spirit of the Fourth of July and 250 Years of America."

Denney added that many people have already bought their tickets or are in the process of doing so.

"We're looking forward just to having a lot of fun with everyone in the community, and provide a memory that people are going to look back on for years, you know, 250 years of America," Denney said.
