On Wednesday, BYU-Idaho students and Rexburg residents packed the stands for the university-sponsored Springfest Rodeo, completely filling the fairgrounds within an hour of kick-off. Before the main event, attendees hung out around food trucks and played yard games outside the stadium. Once inside, university students actively competed in a variety of events, from bronc riding and barrel racing to lassoing and chasing the cash cow. The rodeo ended with an invitation to attendees to join dance instructors in the corral for an hour of country dancing.
