Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints might have noticed a slight change in the program as the statistical report was not read over the pulpit as in the past years of general conference.
Elder Dallin H. Oaks, however, noted the report would be made available to all on mormonnewsroom.org at the end of the Saturday Afternoon Session.
Total church membership is 16,118,169 in 30,506 congregations around the world. In the year of 2017, 233,729 converts were baptized.
Currently, there are 67,049 full-time missionaries serving in locations around the world in 421 missions utilizing 15 training centers. The Church also has 36,172 Church-service Missionaries.
There are also 159 working temples. With the following four dedicated in the last year Paris, France, Tucson, Arizona, Meridian, Idaho, and Cedar City, Utah.
