Madison County provides 20 voting locations from Archer to Sugar City where voters can cast their ballots.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily Nov. 6. The polling booth clerk is able to open polling at 7 a.m.
Booths are housed in LDS chapels, schools, fire stations and city buildings.
Half of the polls are being housed by Madison County Schools.
Voters must go to a specific voting location according to precincts. Voters may find their precinct at www.rexburg.org/index.aspx?NID=340#election.
Voters are required to present photo ID in order to vote. According to the Idaho Votes website, www.idahovotes.gov, the following forms of photo ID are acceptable at the polls: an Idaho driver’s license, a U.S. passport or Federal
identification card, a tribal photo identification card or a current student photo ID. Idaho residents who do not have a state-issued driver’s license can get an Idaho photo identification card at the Department of Transportation.
According to the United States Early Voting website, as of Nov. 3 more than 17,434 votes had been cast by Idaho residents and 26,995,115 had been cast nationwide.
Voters can register to vote on election day at a polling location.
