BYU-Idaho Center Stage has released the list of upcoming events for the Winter 2026 semester. Center Stage events feature guest performances at BYUI, ranging from musicians to comedians or magicians and anywhere in between. Center Stage has three main events lined up for the Winter semester.

Trey Kennedy

Comedian Trey Kennedy will be performing in the John W. Hart Auditorium Jan. 16 starting at 7:30 p.m.

As a comedian, actor and musician, Kennedy is a triple threat who first found fame on Vine before joining YouTube.

His channel, where he mostly does skits, currently has 1.29 million subscribers.

Kennedy is on his stand-up comedy tour, The Relatable Tour, with stops all over the United States into May 2026.

Jon Schmidt

On Feb. 21, Jon Schmidt of the Piano Guys will be performing in the BYU-Idaho Center at 7:30 p.m.

Schmidt is a classical pianist and co-founder of the Piano Guys, a musical quartet featuring Schmidt as the pianist, Steven Sharp Nelson as the cellist, Al Van Der Beek as music producer and Paul Anderson as producer and videographer.

The Piano Guys have been active since 2011, when they started posting YouTube videos, many of them gathering millions of views.

Wizard of Oz on ice

Need more tales from the land of Oz now that you’ve already seen "Wicked: For Good"? You’re in luck, because the Wizard of Oz on ice will showcase in the Hart Auditorium on April 2, starting at 7:30 p.m.

L. Frank Baum’s classic story is brought to life on the ice with all your favorite characters as they follow the yellow brick road and go off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz.

Tickets for all of these events are now available as of Dec. 5. For more information, visit the ticket office website or in person at the University Store Ticket Office.
